Lodges AND Camps
South African lodges offer modern refined comfort. Thatch roofs, swimming pool, English lawn and colonial style houses, everything is done for your comfort and privacy. Tanzania law does not allow permanent structures to be erected in National Parks. Grand Safari uses vast and exclusive tented camps. Tents are normally covered with a thatch or palm leave roof to protect from direct sunlight. They all have a shower, toilet and basin en suite, insuring complete privacy. All camps and Lodges are connected with the rest of the world with radio and / or telephone.
Cuisine
The cooking is always traditional. South Africa offers elaborate cuisine with numerous traditional dishes. The excellent quality and diversity of South African wines are well known. Tanzanian cooks are real magicians. They will prepare the most delicious meals from their bush kitchens.
