Grand Safari 's team conducts most of its hunting in the Eastern Cape region. This province offers numerous hunting areas rich with top quality trophies. The good thing about this part of Africa is that it has a moderate climate and is malaria free. South Africa is well known for its vast variety of game, from nyala, kudu, oryx, blue and black wildebeest, reedbuck, 5 different springbuck, 3 blesbuck, impala and many more. South Africa is a safe and comfortable place to discover, with so many different biotype and scenery, it is often called "a world in one country". South Africa is the ideal destination for your family African adventure. It has much to offer, from tours on the "Blyde River Canyon" to shopping in Cape Town on the "Wine Route" and photographic to big game hunting safaris. The Grand Safari team is proud to introduce the youngest to mother Africa, as observers and often has hunters. season is all year round on private areas, and Grand Safari will issue you with a valid hunting license on arrival. Grand Safari is a registered south african company, authorized by the Police to possess and rent firearms. There is a limited number of hunting rifles for you to hire during your safari. Arrangement to be made in advance, please contact us for details. It is possible to import your firearm in South Africa. One firearm per caliber and no automatic or semi-automatic weapons. Temporary import permit may be obtain on arrival in Johannesburg, Grand Safari however recommend to apply well in advance, allowing a swift passage at custom desks. Ask us for details. The best hunting time is from April to September.
